Do you need someone to talk to?
Person-centred counselling in Milton Keynes
We can all experience feeling overwhelmed, anxious or depressed. We may have experienced trauma or have issues with relationships or family. Perhaps we are struggling with low self-esteem and wondering about who we are and how we fit in. We might just feel at a loss and need someone to listen.
I can offer you a calm, empathic, confidential space to voice and understand your thoughts, feelings and experiences in a way that feels right for you, at your own pace.
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
― Carl R. Rogers,
My practice
Finding a counsellor can feel like a daunting process. I recognise how important it is to feel safe, accepted and heard in order to fully explore your thoughts so you can move towards the choices that feel right for you.
I can help with many different challenges, but I have specific training and experience working with trauma, rape and sexual abuse. I also have worked with with anxiety, depression, anger, loneliness, shame, low self-esteem and identity issues.
I am a qualified counsellor and registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). I also undertake regular professional development and supervision.
How to start your journey
I offer a free 30 minute consultation either by phone or on Zoom. This will give you the chance to tell me a little about yourself, your life or your concerns. In this session, I can answer any questions or concerns you might have about counselling.
